Israel Preparing For Attack On Iran

by JASmius

The above is what the Iranian mullahgarchy has sorely wanted to do for thirty-five years.  They want to do the same thing to Haifa, the Negev, New York, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Boston, Miami, Atlanta, etc.  Or perhaps just an EMP over Kansas, after which we would all freeze, starve, and otherwise kill each other off.  They'd want to do it to Jerusalem as well if they didn't consider Al Aqsa their third unholiest site.

That's the mullahs' sole reason for developing nuclear technology.  They don't need it for energy, because they are awash in oil and natural gas.  It is for the single, solitary reason of developing and acquiring the means to finish incinerating the Jews Hitler couldn't, and eradicating the "Great Satan".  Period.

Barack Obama is helping them get there, and the Jews, for some strange reason, aren't particularly eager to be herded back into the more-than-metaphorical cattle cars:

As the deadline for nuclear talks between the P5+1 powers and Iran looms on Monday, Israel is warning it might use military power if a deal doesn't meet with its approval, the Jerusalem Post reports.

"Current proposals guarantee the perpetuation of a crisis, backing Israel into a corner from which military force against Iran provides the only logical exit," the Post quoted Israeli government sources as saying.

Which will get Israel depicted as the aggressors, warmongers, etc. and enable the Obama Regime to mobilize....well, okay, O has forfeited America's leadership position, but he would certainly join in with the furiously anti-Semitic global condemnation of the action into which the "international community" will have forced the Jewish State - maybe even a counterattack on Iran's behalf to "disarm" the Israelis of their nuclear capabilities.

I make periodic observations of certain people having "the most thankless job" in Washington, D.C., but can anybody really dispute that Benjamin Netanyahu has the most unenviable job on the entire planet as the leader of a globally vilified and targeted nation who knows full well what's going on, the corner into which his country is being bulldozed, and gets escalatingly demonized for both pointing that out and defiantly resisting that fiery fate?

Case in point:

The current proposal would restrict Iran's nuclear program for ten years....

Translation: Give them an additional ten years to, at their leisure, build a bigger nuclear arsenal than Israel's and America's combined.

....and cap its ability to produce weapons-grade material, the Post reported.

Wait for it...wait for it....

The agreement would require Iran to give its material to Russia to be converted to peaceful use....

That would be the same Russia that seeded their nuclear program in the first place twenty years ago, that just gifted the mullahs another nuclear reactor, and would be more than happy to use Iran as its nuclear catspaw.  Sounds precisely like a strategy Vladimir Putin would come up with, as a matter of fact.

and would call for stringent inspections.

Of what?  The Iranian nuclear facilities we know about?  How about the ones we don't?  And who would be carrying out these "stringent inspections"?  The Russians?  The Iranians themselves?  No, wait, let me guess - the ChiComms!  Sure, we can rely on them to act in our best interests, right?

President Reagan once coined the term "trust, but verify".  Seems to me this "deal" is woefully lacking in both, and the Israelis gravely concur:

Israel is wary of the proposal, with an Israeli official noting, "our intelligence agencies are not perfect."

The official pointed out that Iran's nuclear facilities in Natanz and Qom were not known of for years.

"And inspection regimes are certainly not perfect," the official said. "They weren't in the case in North Korea, and it isn't the case now – Iran's been giving the [International Atomic Energy Agency] the run around for years about its past activities."

And then there's the matter of why this agreement has a ten-year expiration date.  Why is it "sun-setted"?  Why is it not permanent?

"You've not dismantled the infrastructure, you've basically tried to put limits that you think are going to be monitored by inspectors and intelligence," the Israeli official told the Post. "And then after this period of time, Iran is basically free to do whatever it wants."

Or fire up another round of "nuclear talks".  Although I think it's crystal clear that the scenario depicted above will have already transpired long before the expiration date for this "deal" is reached.  We know this because the Obama Regime is denying it.  Which is why, whether out of ominous desperation or his patience with his and his country's intelligence being relentlessly insulted finally having been exhausted, Prime Minister Netanyahu is giving one last warning - why, I have no idea, he should just do it and retain some element of surprise - that if the "international community" is going give the mullahs the means they seek (and doubtless already have) to "wipe Israel off the map" and then sit back and watch them do it, the Jewish State is, in the words of Golda Meir, "not going to die so that the world will speak better of it."

A people that were twice destroyed (first by Assyria and Babylon, the second time by Rome), scattered in the "sequel" into a two-millennia diaspora of persecution, pogroms, and near-genocide, simply are not going to allow themselves to be "wiped off the map," Barry, even if you think it's worth it to get that damned piece of paper to wave around with whichever of your hands isn't holding your coffee cup while stumbling down the stairs of Air Force One.

And you're counting on it, aren't you?
