California Grants 131,000 Driver's Licenses To Illegal Aliens So Far

by JASmius

Remember our report back in January 9th that the Acupulco Golden State had joined the ranks of those granting drivers licenses (and voter registrations through the "Motor-Voter" law) to illegal aliens effective New Year's Day 2015?  The DMV's processing rate so far is over two thousand per day:

California issued about 131,000 driver's licenses to [illegal aliens] in January and February, the first two months since the state began granting the permits to people who are in the country illegally, officials said Friday....

The law's backers say they expect an estimated 1.4 million driving age [aliens] to apply for licenses over the next three years. Between two million and three million [illegal aliens] are believed to live in California, making them the nation's largest such population.

That's approximately one out of every ten residents in this site's proprietor's home State, just to provide a little statistical perspective.  How many of them are already voting is anybody's guess, but this "gesture" will make it all the easier for them to do so.  Which means, I suppose, that instead of winning State-wide elections by double-digits, Democrats will now win State-wide elections by triple-digits.  Even legendary Florida State football coach Bobby Bowden didn't take THAT much pleasure in running up the score.  He had no idea, did he?

Ready for the next appalling stat?:

The state issued 59,000 of the licenses in January, and 72,000 in February, the Department of Motor Vehicles said.

By comparison, the state in February issued about 49,000 licenses to residents of the state who are here legally, the DMV said, for a total of 121,000 during the month. During February of 2014, the state issued a total of only 69,000 licenses, the state said.

More illegals got drivers licenses (and voter registrations) than U.S. citizens.  Although upon reflection, that probably isn't all that surprising.  After all, if cockroaches scatter when the lights turn on, it stands to reason that they converge when darkness descends.

If there's any solace to be had from this sovereignty-shredding debacle, it's that it could be even worse:

Not everyone who applied for a license was granted one. Altogether, about 387,000 undocumented immigrants applied for licenses during the first two months of the program, the state said, but only 131,000 were granted.

Such anti-Hispanic bigotry.  What the diablo is the matter with Governor Moonbeam, anyway? Man, Antonio Villaraigosa can't get to Sacramento fast enough, can he?

UPDATE: Meanwhile, on the other coast, the struggle for "social justice" soldiers on:

A man needed multiple stitches after his throat was slashed during an unprovoked attack in Queens, police said.

The incident occurred around 2:20 a.m. Thursday near Seneca and Gates avenues in the Ridgewood section.

The 24-year-old victim was walking with his girlfriend when a man ran up to him and said “I’m going to kill you white boy” in Spanish, police said. The suspect then slashed the victim’s throat with a razor…

The suspect fled with a female companion, who the police say acted as a lookout. [emphasis added]

I'm going to guess Senor Switchblade hasn't been granted his drivers license (and voter registration) yet.

I'd call him a "model citizen," but you get the idea.
