The aspect of this story that's newsworthy to me? I didn't know that Twitter had actually ever blocked or suspended any ISIS accounts. Because, as we're all supposed to know by now, censoring jihadist tweets calling for mass oppression, torture, and murder of non-Muslims is Islamophobic:
ISIS supporters have threatened Twitter employees, including co-founder Jack Dorsey specifically, with death over the social network’s practice of blocking accounts associated with the group. In an Arabic post uploaded to the image-sharing site JustPaste.it, the group told Twitter that “your virtual war on us will cause a real war on you”. It warned that Jack Dorsey and Twitter employees have “become a target for the soldiers of the Caliphate and supporters scattered among your midst!”
“You started this failed war … We told you from the beginning it’s not your war, but you didn’t get it and kept closing our accounts on Twitter, but we always come back. But when our lions come and take your breath, you will never come back to life.”
Harmless bluster? Just ask the good folks at Charlie Hebdo for their thoughts. If you can find somebody to hold the seance.
What surprises me is that the Obama Regime hasn't sued Twitter on First Amendment grounds for violating the Islamic State's constitutional rights. But I guess they don't have to when all they have to do to get even with Mr. Dorsey and his employees is just stand back and allow the jihadists to "randomly" slaughter them all.
I hope Mr. Dorsey can afford to hire private security. He, and they, are definitely going to need it.
