Oberlin Feminist Bullies Flee Honest Debate

by JASmius

Earlier this morning I wrote about the utter dearth of honor at NBC in tolerating Brian Williams' tall tales of his reporting adventures and their current unwillingness to fire him on principle, or even in the self-interest of restoring their "brand," preferring instead to furtively nibble him to professional death with a thousand and one cowardly leaks.

That was, however, the appetizer to this story, which exposes feminazis the world over as the despicable, bullying zealots they really are:

In the liberal Oberlin Review, they detail the harrowing plight of a feminist pooch that probably got PTSD just from the mere presence of the truth-telling [Christina Hoff] Sommers on campus:

While Sommers declined to address accusations from her audience of being a “rape denialist,” [extrem]ists organized a "safe space" in Wilder Hall during the event to affirm the experiences of survivors of sexualized violence and provide them with support. The alternative event, We’re Still Here, was attended by approximately thirty five students and one dog.

Or thirty six bitches, if you prefer.

Oberlin students, meanwhile, posted a nauseating letter about their objection to Sommers that came with – you guessed it! – its own trigger warning: “Content Warning: This letter contains discussion of rape culture, online harassment, victim blaming and rape apologism/denialism.” The very idea of Sommers coming to their school is so horrific that some may not be able to read about without permanent trauma. Stay strong, guys.

Also at Oberlin, two delightful young ladies informed the crowd that they would provide a safe space away from Sommers (who, meanwhile, needed a police escort to keep her away from protesters), which they would be “gatekeeping.” [emphases added]

Remember when the Left was all about "open-mindedness" and "dialogue"?  Remember when feminism was about "the right to make choices"?  Good times, good times.

It it wasn't for the fact that there's a communist dictator in the White House who is highly unlikely to leave office voluntarily, this Oberlin feminazi tantrum could be seen as redundant evidence of the looming death of the Left.  Whether it's environmentalists and the global warming hoax or the Black Klan and ginning up inter-racial hostility that would not otherwise exist or feminists and their "rape culture" fables, leftwingnut "activists" have gone from crusaders for semi-legitimate causes decades ago to infantile, power-mad fascists bent on ruining and destroying the lives of their perceived "enemies" for the "crime" of not indulging their extremist fantasies.

Feminists may be the most pathetically woebegone leftwing tentacle of all.  Their original objectives long since attained, feminism has no reason to exist.  But "activists" can never let their grievance gravy train die, so when there are no more actual battles to fight, they simply make up their own, as with the "rape culture" hoax, its ridiculous and slanderously sexist lesbo propaganda that "one in five men is a rapist," which they use as justification for libeling whole swaths and classes of men (specifically conservatives and Republicans, astonishingly enough).  Feminists have become nothing more than roving castration gangs bent upon wiping out as many men as possible, and ideally eliminating the Y chromosome from the human genome.

They are a hate group, plain and simple.

And yet when anybody, like Miss Sommers, substantively challenges them on their destructive sexist "rape culture" fantasies, the poor little wilting violets flee in tears and sequester themselves from reality, including the monsters that they have become, and hurl epithets and profanities at them.  About the only thing missing is jamming their fingers in their ears and shrieking at the top of their lungs, or holding their breath until they pass out.

It'd be piteous if feminazis weren't so crazedly malevolent.  Which makes contempt the more suitable and rational reaction.
