Our confidence in our economy is wavering. But if we did an audit on the true numbers, would we have any confidence left? Our entire monetary system depends on trust of an untrustworthy group of political elites. The economy is being artificially held up by debt and fiat money. The dollar is on the verge of collapse, and thanks to Roosevelt and Nixon, the only thing that backs our dollar is our own belief that it has any value in the first place.
What happens to an economy held up by faith when that faith diminishes, and eventually goes the way of the dinosaurs?
With technology, the hazards are blanketed over by the push of a button. We have become a global economy, so it's not just us on the hot seat. We are all affected by the manipulation of economies worldwide. NAFTA fell flat when Mexico played with the value of the peso. China's markets are becoming quite shaky after a rapid rocket blast into becoming a massive economy. The Greek debt saga has all of Europe, and the entire world, sitting on the edge of their seat, waiting to fall of the edge of the cliff.
The experts and government officials tell us the worst of it is over. We've weathered the storm. We've made it past the worst of it. Never mind the manipulated numbers, the false unemployment rate, the poor management of records, the lies, the deception, and the man behind the curtain pulling strings at an ever increasing rapid pace. The difficulties, we are told, don't exist. Just ignore it. Play with your phone, video games, and watch your entertainment on the screen. The government will take care of the hard thinking for you.
At what point must what goes up finally come crashing down?
Economists that don't buy into the deception say otherwise. We are falling. It is just a matter of when we slam into the pavement. We are going to collapse. It is not a matter of if, as much as a matter of when. The real key is how fast. If the fall is rapid, we will see food riots and a massive crime wave. Most of us don't have more than enough food to keep us going for a few days. . . a couple weeks at the most. A rapid collapse would surely plunge the world into another dark age.
An eventual fall is what the wielders of the artificial economy are working on. They are the purveyors of utopia, where there is no gender, no individualism, no free market. They call for a communal society where the workers are all equal. . . in misery. They envision a society without possessions, without private property, without personal property, only a mass of people that work for the good of the community. The common good. While the ruling class continue to enjoy the perks of their position. So, to achieve their dream, they are collapsing the world economy. . . but slowly enough so that humanity can adjust, and put the shackles on their own ankles themselves.
A slow collapse gives us time to adjust, to accept a life less productive than before, a life with less conveniences than before, a life with less freedoms than before. It's greedy, we are told, to live as we do. We must be selfless, and become paupers for the good of the community, and accept the slow deterioration into the stack-em and pack-em world the social engineers have prepared for us under the guise of "sustainable development." It will be a peaceful existence, we are told, like in the song "Imagine" by John Lennon. No possessions, no religion, no greed or hunger, no countries. . . imagine all the people sharing all the world. And eventually the government, after forcing us into such a pickle, will slowly fade away due to it no longer being needed.
After all, in history, that's what overpowering governments do, right? They just fade away without a single drop of blood being spilled, right? I am sure the progressives, the communists and the Muslims will gladly step aside so that we can all dance around with flowers in our hair in a field covered with the wonders of nature, and the seeds of destruction.
Actually, historically, what we are seeing always leads to bloody revolution. What emerges on the other side, unfortunately, is usually just another tyranny. . . unless its based on a system of godly morals, sacred honor, and a limited government - like the miracle called the United States.
Can so many clocks strike the hour all at once again? Is it possible for the lightning strike of such a miracle to strike again?
