#BlackLivesMatter To Shut Down 2016 GOP Convention

by JASmius

I wonder if they can rebuild The Mistake By The Lake in time for it to be burned down again by the leftwingnut attack on the Republican National Convention. Chicago's 1968 "Days of Rage" were nothing compared to next summer's conflagration.

- Me, two months and four days ago

I hope Reince Priebus is stocking up on aloe, flame retardant, barricades, and plenty of legal representation for the CPD, because there will be an acute need for "police brutality" in a scant 413 days.

- Me, nine days later

 Aaaaaaand awaaaaay we go:

While appearing on MSNBC....

Natch.

....Saturday, Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors told hosts filling in for Melissa Harris-Perry that her group would shut down the GOP convention if the opportunity arises. [emphasis added]

Which guarantees an enormous police presence, which guarantees "police violence" against "unarmed (heh) black people," which guarantees another round of Cleveland rioting that will get blamed squarely on the "racist" GOP.  Have I left anything out?

She also spoke of the "murder of Mike Brown" in Ferguson, Missouri. None of the co-hosts on the panel challenged her characterization.

Natch.

The statement was made after she was asked what she would like to see from candidates running for president. Cullors said she wants candidates to "actually call movement leaders" and arrange meetings to "have a conversation with us about what's happened this last year since the murder of Mike Brown."

In other words, grovel at their feet, accept the chains of slavery, and willingly consent to be extorted by these violent extremists and domestic terrorists.  Which is how Tea Partiers would be described by these same filthbags if they couched their policy demands in similar terms.

Of course, Tea Partiers are already described that way by the Left, so that may not be the best comparison.

Either way, #BlackLivesMatter is coming for us all to prove once and for all that #White/Republican/Tea Party/Conservative/ChristianLivesDon'tMatter - right, Governor O'Malley? - and, if they get their way, will be terminated with extreme (heh) prejudice.

Cleveland is gonna burn (again) next summer.  We have been warned.  God knows if anything will be done about it.
