Hillary: "Voters Will Trust Me When They See I'm A Fighter"

by JASmius

If you can't convince 'em, confuse 'em with non sequiturs, I guess:

Former [Commissar] of State Hillary Clinton says that voters will start to trust her more when they see that she's a fighter.

"Well, I don't like to read that, it won't surprise you to hear me say it," [Mrs.] Clinton said at a press conference in Iowa Monday, in response to a question about recent poll numbers that show that a majority of voters don't find her trustworthy.

"I think that throughout this campaign what people are going to see is that I will fight for them and the issues that they're talking to me about," [Mrs.] Clinton said.

If they can get passed the rope lines and barricades and barbed wire and guard towers and machine gun emplacements and climb over the shoulders of the hordes of astroturfed Clintonoids to even get within shouting distance of her.

But how does this tiresomely cliched faux pugilism mitigate the public's profound distrust in anything she says?  Doesn't the latter mean the former is a non-starter?  Even as an equally tiresome hand-waving distraction?  Or is she trying to ape the Tea Party without anybody realizing it?

Meanwhile, Her Nib's media defenses continue to crumble, even on MSNBC:

MITCHELL: Look, you have two inspectors general, and they are referring this to the Justice Department. Now, you can try to confuse and there’s been a lot of misdirection, there’s been inaccurate reporting. …

What they are suggesting is that there were classified — four out of the forty randomly selected [emails] had classified information, and it was not information that was later upgraded to be classified. It was information that was classified as, quote, secret, which is its level of classification at the time.

This gets very confusing, and it can be confused further by statements on all sides. That said, the original sin, if you will, is having a private e-mail system.

BRZEZINSKI: [crosstalk] It’s unfixable. It’s unfixable.

MITCHELL: I was at a security conference speaking to intelligence officials on all sides, and to the Attorney General, and we’ll talk about that later. But nobody can give an explanation for why a Cabinet Secretary would have a private e-mail system, other than to thwart inquiries, FOIAs, and someone who had spent twenty years fighting off many investigations, many of which were unwarranted and many of which led nowhere, and so you understand the defensive approach that a lot of Clinton people were in. But it still doesn’t explain why going from the Senate into a Cabinet level position there was a private e-mail system.

Hillary Clinton is a corrupt, leftwing extremist crook whose poll numbers decline in inverse proportion to her political ambitions, visibility, and how often her gums are flapping.  Americans don't trust her and Americans don't like her.  That's been the case for years and it still is today.  And she completely lacks her husband's ability to either hypnotize voters to the contrary or distract them with any "SQUIRREL!"-like "shiny objects".

Ron Fournier delivers the brutal truth:

[Mrs.] Clinton regrets being too transparent in the same way a bank robber might second-guess his confession.

— “This is all about my desire to have transparency and to make the information public.” If your eyes aren’t rolling, you’re not paying attention.

[Mrs.] Clinton has put herself in a box. She can either hand the server over to an independent third party, who would protect her private email and our government’s working email. Or she can stonewall.

The latter course gives every voter the right – and every self-respecting journalist the responsibility – to ask, “What were you hiding, Hillary?”

What are you hiding?

That's the question even the Obamedia is being forced to ask.  And if even MSNBC is doing so....

It's as I've said for two and a half years, folks: Hillary Clinton will never be president of the United States.  Period.

Donald Trump notwithstanding, of course.
