It was either that headline, or "It's All Down-'Hill' From Here":
Senator Bernie Sanders has opened a nine-point lead over fellow Democrat Hillary Clinton among party supporters in New Hampshire, according to an NBC News/Marist Poll released on Sunday.
The survey showed that 41% of Democratic voters would back Sanders while 32% would cast a vote for [Mrs.] Clinton if the poll were held today and Vice President Joe Biden were on the ballot....
In July, Sanders had 32% support while [Mrs.] Clinton had 42% backing in the same poll.
Her Nib's steady electoral necrotization continues in the Hawkeye State as well:
NBC also reported that its polling shows [Mrs.] Clinton with a lead in Iowa, another State with an early voice in the nomination process, though her margin over Sanders has shrunk to eleven percentage points from twenty-four points in July.
The Hillary Collapse is unfolding even faster than I thought it would. She not only has no political skillset with which to stop the hemorrhaging, but is drowning in her Emailgate scandal travails at just the time when she most needs to focus like a laser beam on doing everything she can to reverse her sagging fortunes. And the best she can do is flailingly shriek clumsy smears at the Republican side of the race in such a way as to make her desperation as transparent as she wishes to conceal it.
The "trying to buy the election" cliche is promiscuously overused, in my humble opinion. But that is what the Empress and her purported multi-billion dollar warchest have to literally attempt to do, because she can't win even the Democrat nomination any other way. Consider it a real-life case study in whether that cliche is actually possible.
