Democrats Accuse Inspectors-General Doing Their Jobs In Emailgate Of Being "Political"

by JASmius

Yes, THIS leftwingnut one-way street again.  "Being political" is only bad when the law is being, or even might be, enforced against Democrats; when the law is being used to persecute and destroy Republicans, THAT's "good government" and "honest government" and "draining the swamp of Republican corruption" - and, of course, ANYTHING  but "political," because "being political" is their monopolized privilege.

Right tribe, wrong tribe.  Penthouse, outhouse.

And in this case, sedition, treason, and regicide according to a joint letter sent to the State and Intelligence I-Gs by seven Donks, including Senators Diane Feinstein and Patrick Leahy and Representative Adam Schiff, the first and last of whom also happen to be the ranking Dems on the Senate and House Intelligence Committees respectively:

Based on public reports and communications from your offices to Congress, we have serious questions about how this review is being conducted…

Classification determinations are complex, subjective, often in dispute between different agencies, and are not normally within the purview of Inspectors-General. We are concerned that those involved in the review process have not sufficiently taken these complexities or the interagency differences on each email into account.

This "parallel information sourcing/inter-agency disputes" BS on classified information is straight out of La Clinton Nostra, a bogus obfuscation Hillary's been squawking for months,  It then and now, it is nothing but wet fog, meant to muddy waters that are, in fact, crystal clear:

An intelligence community review has re-affirmed that two classified emails were indeed “top secret” when they hit Hillary Clinton’s unsecured personal server despite a challenge to that designation by the State [Commissaria]t, according to two sources familiar with the review.

The sources described the dispute over whether the two emails were classified at the highest level as a “settled matter.”

It was "settled" because it is NOT State that classifies information but the intelligence community, as an earlier letter FROM the I-Gs TO Congress clearly and conclusively states:

“To date, I have received two sworn declarations from one [intelligence community] element. These declarations cover several dozen emails containing classified information determined by the IC element to be at the confidential, secret, and top secret/sap levels,” said the IG letter to lawmakers with oversight of the intelligence community and State [Commissaria]t. “According to the declarant, these documents contain information derived from classified IC element sources.” [emphasis added]

Not only is determining classification of info not Foggy Bottom's purview, but they don't have any authority to declassify information that the Intelligence Community has classified.  Consequently, Hillary Clinton, whose ass is, legally speaking, already in a sling simply for "privatizing" her official electronic communications, does not and never did have any say in the matter, but was obligated to comply with the applicable laws that she flagrantly violated instead.

So what are these seven congressional Democrats attempting to do?  Add teeth to Mrs. Clinton's stonewalling by attacking the I-Gs to force them to "prove" that they're not being "political" as La Clinton Nostra defines the term.  Or, in other words, if they want to "clear" themselves, they'd better join the coverup and stop doing their jobs and enforcing the law impartially.

Looks like the FBI grant of immunity to Bryan Pagliano has raised the Donk crisis level to DEM-CON-2.
