Wildfires, Floods, Tornadoes and Treasonous Professors

Fires have erupted in California (including Catalina Island), Georgia, Florida; Missouri is under flood waters; a Class 5 Tornado has hit Kansas.
In Kansas the governor has been caught politicizing the tragedy. She was on a radio station being interviewed and blamed Bush and the federal government for lack of response.
Isn't that a local issue? Didn't our forefathers in their wisdom create the state system so that local governments can take care of local problems, and the federal government worries about federal issues (like protecting the nation with a fully trained, armed and funded military)?
Bush contacted this governor offering federal aid and the governor denied needing it, hung up the phone, and then went to work trying to turn this against the Bush Administration.
Is it Bush's fault that fires and floods are raging as well?
And how long before this gets blamed on Global Warming?
Meanwhile, Norman Finkelstein of DePaul University supports Hezbollah, and denies the holocaust. He calls for Israel's destruction. And the university is getting ready to grant him his tenure.
He sounds like Ahmadinejad, and this guy is teaching the future of America - and in a Catholic University, no less.
The war is not only on the sands of Iraq, but in the halls of the U.S. government and in the souls of America. The liberals latch on to anything they can to spread their agenda.
(and I haven't even talked about what Opie and Anthony on XM Radio said about raping Condi Rice!)

What Opie and Anthony said is unacceptable. It is disgusting, and my personal opinion is that I consider it to be a terroristic threat in nature.

I gather it wasn't Opie or Anthony who said it, it was their guest, but they certinly went along for the ride.

I ask like I did after Katrina, what f-ing part of STATE RESPONSE do these governors NOT get?

Do you see Arnie, leader of the vast left wing nut house called california asking for help with our fires? No, he's taking care of it in house. Why do Dem governors need their little hands held so much?

Oh, and how exactly could Bush have reacted more expediantly to the Kansas TORNADO? He called offered aid he shouldn't have and flew in and offered support immeadiatly. Seems fair to me. This obscene hatred from the left is gone far over the line into absurdity.
