Our ailing Public School System and Cappuccino. . .

I was listening to a local talk show host the other day and he says, "Los Angeles Unified School District budget is larger than the budget for the entire City of Los Angeles."

Yet, L.A. schools are struggling greatly in test scores, and the "educated ones" can't figure out why. Meanwhile, all those uneducated parents who home-school their kids, or send their kids to private schools taught by people not accredited by the state to teach, are enjoying the fact that their kids score much much higher than kids in the Public School system - and on much smaller budgets.

How crazy is that?

So what do the liberals of the L.A. Unified School District do in response? Well, they ask for more money, of course. Couldn't possibly be that liberal curriculum, could it? Nah. They'd rather throw more money at the problem.

But, as bad as that is, I have to admit Chicago takes the case. In Chicago, the school district just got caught with a $67,000 cappuccino bill!

And that helps our kids how?

Shameful. Just shameful.
