Climate Bill HR 2454 Disaster For America

America felt outrage over all of the pork that was written directly into the Obama "stimulus" bill. Since becoming law, the nationwide unemployment rate continues to climb, and there has been no positive effect on the American economy.

Now, another monster bill filled with plenty of unassociated pork products, has passed The U.S. House of Representatives, and it promises to increase unemployment even more than what we are seeing, and increase the cost of every part of the cost of living in America while the dollar continues to devalue, and inflation knocks on the door, should this insane piece of legislation pass the U.S. Senate.

The economy killer goes by many names. Cap and Trade, Climate Bill, Global Warming Bill, HR 2454. In reality, it is a national energy tax - and much much more.

Like the monstrous 1,100 page "stimulus" bill, none of the lawmakers have read the entire 1,500 page environmentalist dream bill. And what's more, 300 of those pages were added less than a few hours before the final vote.

More dream projects by the Left, also known as "pork," is laced all throughout those three hundred pages.

John Boehner, House Minority Leader, read portions of those 300 pages to the American People, and found that the bill as a whole is designed to "raise taxes, send American jobs overseas and punish hard working, middle-class families with higher energy costs."

HR 2454, should it pass, will forcefully, and intentionally, drive up the costs of energy in the form of gasoline, oil, natural gas and coal - and it will do this as the country is struggling under the grips of a recessionary period that may be quickly heading into a depression (some folks would say we are already in a depression). Energy will become unaffordable, and will kill jobs across the land. The prices of all goods will go up. The economy will be unable to grow without affordable energy, and this idiotic piece of legislation will make our economic crisis go from bad to worse.

With the costs of energy so high, how will businesses be able to function?

Or maybe that is the whole point. Destroy the private sector so that the transition to nationalizing all industries can be completed.

Interestingly, 44 Democrats voted against this turkey of a bill - but eight Republicans voted for it, and it was only a four vote swing. Eight Republicans sold out our future. Eight Republicans (including my own Mary Bono Mack) voted to further politicize and relinquish control of our private industrial sector to Federal Regulatory agencies, and the idiot Democrats in control of the Federal Government.

If this economy-buster passes, once those that voted for it find out truly what is in it, they will realize that it is an embarrassment, and that they sold America's soul to Karl Marx, and the radical environmentalists that are still pushing the Man-made Global Warming lie to a nation that is wising up to the lies.

The idea, or so we are told, of this piece of legislation, is to curb heat-trapping gases that scientists claim to have linked to "climate change." Problem is, our contribution to green house gases is so small, the effect on the overall picture is negligible. In fact, the two biggest green house gas polluters is the oceans, and volcanoes. Do the Democrats plan to control the oceans and volcanoes too? Are you going to outlaw water vapor? Will there be a fine for a volcano daring to erupt?

This is a financial screwing of the American Taxpayer, but it can still be stopped. Call your Senators, and urge him or her to vote against the Waxman-Markey Cap and Trade Legislation, HR 2454 - because if this thing passes, as the Democrats wish, we will be all equal - equally broke, and equally miserable.

Increasing the cost of oil, gasoline, coal, and natural gas will not incentivize solar and wind energy, as well as encourage us to buy hybrid cars. Increasing these costs will only break the American Economy, and send us into a spiraling depression that may make the Great Depression look like a cake walk.
