"Political and Religious Motives. . . "
In Little Rock, Arkansas, an American convert to Islam, gunned down two soldiers in front of a military recruiting office - killing one, wounding the other.
The shooter, Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad (the American formerly known as Carlos Bledsoe), was arrested shortly after. He recently returned from Yemen, where he studied jihad with an Islamic scholar there.
This shooting is being compared to the killing of George Tiller, the abortionist, as if there is some kind of commonality. The liberal left immediately assumed that the Kansas shooting of Tiller was by an individual connected to pro-life groups, when nothing about his background has surfaced, yet (and he should still be condemned for his actions, regardless of his background). The leftist media proclaimed he represented the "extremism" of anti-abortion, and that we need to find "common ground" on the issue, as Obama has suggested.
What common ground, Mr. Obama? How do you find common ground with murder? Should the families of victims of serial killers find common ground with the maniac that killed their loved ones? And how is trying to save the lives of babies extremism? In my opinion, the slaughter of millions upon millions of babies is extreme - an extremism of a culture of death.
The Little Rock shooter is a member of an Islamic ideology that teaches to "kill the infidels where they stand." A history of violence against non-Muslims is present, and the Arkansas shooter, Muhammad, was recently schooled in the Islamic nation of Yemen in the studies of Jihad by an Islamic Scholar. There is no condemnation by the members of Islam, and the media is white washing it as just another shooting.
George Tiller's murder is the fourth in history in the terms of abortion doctors allegedly killed by pro-lifers. As a result, Fundamental Christians are being characterized as terrorists, despite the fact that the shooting has been condemned across the board by every Christian and pro-life group. Nobody is mentioning the fact that Tiller has slaughtered more human beings than all of the murderers on death row nationally, combined. I am not condoning the shooting, I am only pointing out that the guy was a murderer, and it is a shame that rather than due process taking care of him as he should have been, he continued to kill without facing any retribution.
"Due process," in the case of Tiller's murder, is the key pair of words. Despite the wrong of his practice of abortions, and specifically the killing of viable babies, he never fully paid the consequences for his actions from a legal point of view. As for the shooter, if, as a nation, we begin to take the law into our own hands, we will surely deginerate into chaos.
However, we must recognize the shooting in Little Rock to be what it was - a killing motivated by the shooter's devotion to Islam.
Four abortion doctors have been killed by stupid individuals over the nearly four decades since Roe v. Wade. Millions have been killed by the Islamic Jihad, and each and every one of those deaths were killed in the name of the Muslim ideology.
I speculate that the Little Rock shooting is but a small example of things to come from Islam. And while the Islamization of America continues, the Left is focused on the murder of a death dealer.
