2012 Masters Disaster - 2012 (the movie) is a box office hit. Apparently "doom" and suffering at the hand of galactic alignment while humanity clamors aboard giant arks is what the populace demands. This movie makes "The Day After Tomorrow" look like a mini-cyclone in the bathtub with all of its special effects and calamity. The New Age elements were present, and liberal thought echoed throughout the movie. If unbelievable scenes of ultimate disaster and the crazy destruction of the entire world is your thing, this one is a fun movie. But, realize that the implications should be taken with a grain of salt.
Yes, I know there are those out there that use Hollywood as their source for reality, and these folks have to remember that the movie, 2012, should not be taken seriously as a doctrinal example of what is coming in a few years. In the world of reality, 2012 will probably shape up to be another Y2K, with lots of hoopla, and the sun rising gloriously over a disaster-free world the following day.
Hey, I have a thought: Maybe the Mayans just decided to stop at 2012 for no significant reason.
