When Obamacare narrowly passed the House of Representatives the Democrats danced and sang and claimed the passage of the Health Care Bill in the U.S. Senate was a sure thing. Obama celebrated as if the bill's passage through the U.S. Senate was simply a formality.
The U.S. Senate, however, is not looking so sure after all. Perhaps they have been scrutinizing the bill a little more closely.
According to the Heritage Foundation, the Democrat's Health Care bill will cause health care costs to increase, millions will lose their existing private coverage, millions will pay fines for not having insurance and then will remain uncovered, millions of senior citizens will lose their beloved Medicare Advantage, millions will be forced into the welfare system, access to care by senior citizens will be jeopardized, access to services by the poor will be interfered with, and taxes will be paid by everyone to fund the program.
The Washington Post calls the plan a "$300 Billion Deception."
President Obama is out of touch, as is the rest of the Democrats, and they could care less what the people want. Their primary focus is to pass their agenda driven policies any way they can, despite the voice of the people, or the U.S. Constitution.
The U.S. Senate may not be so fast to oblige.
The Senate recognizes the voice of the people, recognize the blatant contradictions within the bill, are aware of the dangerous provisions, and the deception. There are enough Blue Dog Democrats to stop the Health Care Bill - and if the bill does not pass the U.S. Senate, the growing civil war within the Democrat Party will be in full force.
