Over the weekend a 6.5 earthquake struck near Eureka, California along the Northern California Coast. Roughly a hundred miles from a house I own in Brookings, Oregon, I was concerned for my friends in that small Oregon town. Thankfully, the earthquake to them was nothing more than a strong rumble.
San Francisco also experienced a couple of small quakes during the end of last week.
I believe it is very possible we will be seeing more seismic activity along the American West Coast. Much of this activity will be a natural response from the earthquakes on the opposite side of the tectonic plate in the southwest Pacific.
