As we witness the increase of terror attacks by Muslims around the world, a sobering thought comes to mind: It is only going to get worse.
A dire prediction. The realization of the worsening threat is fueled by the knowledge that Islam will not only not give up, but that the political ideology masquerading as a religion will continue to increase their resolve in producing a worldwide caliphate.
Doomsday peddler? You mean like those that support the idea that the planet is at risk because of man-made global warming? The glaring difference, obviously, is that the drive by Islam for a worldwide caliphate is a true threat, and the myth of man-made global warming is not.
Interestingly, leftists prefer to stand around blaming American prosperity for the weakened inner-structure of the house that is the United States while Islam stands outside with a wrecking ball at the ready.
Barack Obama is a "Domestic Issues" President, and he makes no bones to convince you otherwise. Providing for the national defense is an inconvenience to him. The problem is, however, it is unconstitutional for the federal government to be involved in the issues the Democrats have the government involved in, and the majority of those issues are specifically state issues, while others are just straight out socialistic aspirations that have no business even being dreamed up by an American politician.
The federal government is, however, responsible for providing for the common defense. In fact, that is one of the federal government's primary duties. Obama treats defending this nation like it is an annoying buzz of a mosquito in his ear, and is not even willing to get back to Washington from his vacation when an act of war is attempted against this nation in the skies over Detroit.
When I first criticized Obama for remaining on vacation after he received the news of the underwear-bomber over Detroit, I received a communication that asked, "Do you expect Obama to drop everything and run to Washington every time there is a crisis?"
Yes!
Obama is, like it or not, the President of the United States. His position is not a nine-to-five job. He is on duty 24/7, and I expect him to be ready and able to instantly perform his duties at all times. His family can wait 4 to 8 years for their vacation in Hawaii! Obama took an oath to protect this nation against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and we should expect him to do all he can to obey that oath. While he is the President of the United States the safety of the nation comes before everything else!
A member of a growing attitude not unlike the one that swept across Europe in the 1920s and 1930s, Obama and the progressives are too caught up in complacency, social engineering, and cultural relativism to be willing to see any connection between Islam and the future of this nation. Just like Britain and France was disarming as Hitler was building a war machine, we are structurally weakening, and disarming, as the threat of the Islamic Jihad reaches out globally.
They have their wrecking ball at the ready to bring down our house, and we are concerned over whether the pictures are hanging straight in the hallway.
America is in debt because of government programs, and the various entitlement programs have eroded the populace's ability to be self-reliant. This makes big government a security threat. Our citizenry has become vulnerable, and have become unwilling to defend itself in the face of Islamic Terrorism. And then, when an attack against the United States takes place, the President shrugged it off as a minor case of isolated extremism, his Homeland Security Secretary proclaimed the system worked wonderfully, and then Barry continued his golf game while on vacation in Hawaii.
Terrorism is an act of war. We are facing an enemy that is unwilling to feed its citizens, but has nuclear weapons, or is attempting to have them soon, so that they can use such weapons against Israel, Europe, and North America. The Islamist's plans don't sleep, they never stop preparing for Jihad, and they will strike at any time day or night. Islamism is not a small threat, or a criminal action, as the leftists proclaim. Terror attacks against the United States are an act of war, and the sooner the Democrats realize this, the better off we'll all be.
Meanwhile, Obama is telling us he has stiffened some airport regulations, put Sizzling-Underpants in jail, got the terrorist a lawyer so that he can plead 'not guilty,' and now Barry is ready to get back to what is really important to him: Taking away our health care choices, and penalizing our energy usage so that he can try to save the planet from a mythical weather threat created by junk science with a globalistic agenda.
There is nothing isolated about anything Islamic Terrorists do. Islam is a transnational entity connected by a powerful will to bring their terror to the infidel nations without regard of fair play, rules of engagement, or international agreements. They are not nation states, nor are they always members of al-Qaeda. They are Islam, a part of a whole, with one goal in mind: Creating a worldwide caliphate by destroying the West.
It doesn't matter if you think the Islamic Jihad is capable of worldwide domination, or not. Islamism is making the push, and are actively acting upon their insanity. Islam is waging a holy war against us. We didn't start this war, they did. It doesn't matter if we think it is ridiculous, or barbaric, or if any of us thinks they don't have the ability to bring down Europe and America. It is the federal government's duty to protect this nation, and the Democrats are not performing that task to its fullest. Barack Obama, and the Democrats, are underestimating the threat, and our very existence as a nation could be at risk because of it.
Barry would rather play a game of golf and blame Bush, than protect this nation.
