The Health Care legislation is on a ten year cycle. Ten years of taxes, for six years of "benefits." In other words, "free" care won't be available for four years.
The Democrats did this to make Health Care Reform look less expensive than it is.
Could you imagine buying a car with a ten year loan, with interest, but not being allowed to drive the car for four years?
The Obama followers don't understand this, and have been showing up at medical facilities wanting their "free" care, and not understanding why they ain't gettin' it.
Of course, the taxation, and many of the mandates, are in play now.
The thing is, their "free" care is not free, and for that matter, is beyond our affordability.
The question is more than just "should" we add Health Care to the federal government's long list of unconstitutional policies, but "can" we afford it. Deficit spending is beyond any level that we have seen in history. We simply can't afford Obamacare, or any of the other liberal policies the Democrats in Washington have in mind.
Interestingly enough, not only are the Democrats destroying the economy (which will be a major factor in 2012), but also the Obama faithful are going to launch a mutiny, not understanding that their "free" care is many years away.
And all of the explaining in the world by Obama is not going to placate the feelings of betrayal the Obama voters are beginning to feel. November is going to be fun.
