What happens when a man perceived to be the U.S. President forbids Israel from building homes on their own land in their own capitol? If we can believe bible scholar John McTernan, the answer is: It backwashes to us because we will reap what we sow.
John McTernan says that at the same time Obama pressured Israel to stop building new homes, the US new home market plummeted to the worse levels on record, leaving the US building industry in shambles.
McTernan explains that Obama humiliated Israel Prime Minister Netanyahu by with snubs including refusing the customary photo op’ with the head of state of our closest ally in the Middle East. In contrast, Obama was eager to unashamedly bow to the King of Saudi Arabia in a photo op’ seen worldwide.
Will Netanyahu bow to Obama’s demands. Probably not, based on his statement of, "We must not be trapped by an illogical and unreasonable demand,” referring to being pressured to giving up portions of The Promised Land given as a gift to the Jewish people in an everlasting covenant by Yahweh, as documented in both Jewish and Christian bibles.
Stated McTernan, “I watched the business news tonight and an economic analyst said the building industry and home sales are about to pull the economy down like it did in September 2008 at the exact time President Bush was also bullying Israel over Jerusalem. Bush did it with a velvet glove while Obama is using an iron fist. Clearly America has fallen directly under the curse of Obadiah 1:15, that stated, “For the day of the LORD is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.”
Another ancient bible verse that predicted such occurrences about 2500 years ago include: Zechariah 12:3, that stated, “And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.”
John McTernan is the founder of Branch of David ministries, and has spent thousands of hours with Jews and Muslims debating and corresponding in defense of the Gospel. During numerous appearances on television, radio and in seminars, he has publicly defended Israel in light of Biblical prophecy.
Since 1975, he has been involved with the Pro-Life movement and is currently a Pro-Life leader in central Pennsylvania. And, in the early 1980s, he co-founded International Cops for Christ where he serves as an ordained chaplain and evangelist.
John holds a B.S. from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. He served 26 years as a Federal Treasury agent before retiring in 1998.
