Sometimes the Huffington Post can be a good source for news. There are times when the Huffington Post actually puts out an article about something not necessarily being prominently posted elsewhere, and it is something that conservatives need to be aware of. One such case is the conference in Chicago on July 11 designed to hype the virtues of an Islamic state ruled according to the strictest interpretation of Islamic law, hosted by the radical Islamist group Hizb ut-Tahrir America (HTA).
The HTA's similar conference outside of Chicago last year drew about 500 participants. This year, however, the group is using the social media to build a larger campaign to promote this year's conference. As a result, they are expecting more attendees, evidenced by the fact that they booked an 11,000-square-foot ballroom at the Chicago Marriott Oak Brook that can accommodate more than one thousand people.
The HTA is a small piece of a larger worldwide organization whose goals are to establish an Islamic caliphate, through the spread of Islam, to the entire world. During the application of this plan, violence is encouraged against Western troops in Muslim countries, and the organization advocates the destruction, and eradication of Israel.
The Huffington Post maintains that so far the Islamic group has maintained a non-violent approach to its objectives. That is how Islam works. While they are in the minority, or at a disadvantage, they practice the "Medina" portion of the Koran which is peaceful and non-violent. Then when the Islamic community in an area begins to gain some kind of influence, and they believe they can begin to demand concessions without reprisal, then they shift over to the "Mecca" portion of the Koran, which teaches conquest through violent and manipulative means.
The HTA is not a new arrival, or minor group, either. 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed is a former member and adherent of their teachings. He, however, left the HTA because he didn't believe they were radical enough (yet). Walid Shoebat did something similar before his conversion to Christianity. As a Palestinian terrorist, Shoebat was a member of the Palestine Liberation Organization, but joined the Muslim Brotherhood because he did not believe the PLO was radical enough. What happens is organizations like the HTA become bridges, or "conveyor belts," to terrorism. However, once influence is gained, the HTA will prove to be but a sleeping giant willing to launch jihad at will, as well.
The HTA uses a number of strategies to turn people toward Islam, and to encourage them to identify with the worldwide Muslim community. One of the strategies is to fuel a sense of alienation, and to encourage Muslims to not vote, or embrace the culture, of the "unbelievers" in the region they occupy.
With the use of the Internet the organization has grown, and has gained popularity. The strategy key has been to plant political propaganda, while engaging in successful marketing campaigns.
June 5, 2010 is the date the HTA launched its campaign to publicize the "Emerging World Order" conference. They launched their campaign with a video for YouTube. The video promises the "dawn of a new era."
On their Facebook page the HTA requests Muslims to change their "political views" to "Islamic Khilafah."
Homegrown terrorism is on the rise here in the United States, and Islam is experiencing dramatic growth in the United States. The radicalization of these people has been so extensive that we are beginning to see acts of terrorism committed by these American Muslims. Even though the HTA has been able to keep evidence of any ties to these acts of terrorism non-existent, the objectives and ideology of the organization are consistent with Islamist terrorist organizations. The group demonizes the U.S. and its allies, it seeks to make American Muslims feel disaffection towards their country, and it does not fully condemn acts of terrorism; rather, it places blame on the victim society for bringing violence upon itself.
The Islamization of America is in full swing, and the evidence that Islam is not a religion, but a political ideology seeking world conquest while using a mask of religion to accomplish its goals, is becoming more apparent with each passing day. Just the fact that this organization is holding a conference regarding the Islamic Emerging World Order, and that they are attracting a fairly good sized audience, is alarming. But more than merely being alarming, it is also a clue as to what Islam is trying to accomplish, and evidence that the goal is not just to co-exist with us in the U.S., but to take over and impose Shariah law.
