Obama's Fascism

By Douglas V. Gibbs

When deficit spending rises, economies suffer, and the system is pumped with fiat money, tyranny gains.

The Democrats in control of the United States federal government is putting together partnerships between the public and private sectors called Public-Private Investment Partnerships (PPIP's) that privatize gains and socialize losses. The hope is to stabilize prices through providing governmental cushions so that the entities don't fall on their posterior.

While the Left calls it "stimulus" and "bailouts," and George W. Bush (when he finally agreed to it) called it abandoning free market principles to save the free market system, I call it a merger between the corporate system and the state - also known as fascism.

Benito Mussolini best described fascism when he said: "Fascism should more properly be called corporatism because it is the merger of state and corporate power."

I was told about a billboard that the Democrats are peeing all over themselves over because it depicts Obama with Hitler and Lenin. I say the billboard was incomplete. Mussolini should have been added for it to be fully accurate.
