I hate war, but I recognize the necessity of a nation to defend itself, its interests, and its allies. The world is filled with bad people, and violent ideologies. To survive, one must be able to defeat the enemy soundly. Peace is a wonderful goal, but peace cannot be achieved from a viewpoint of weakness, or an unwillingness to engage in war with a single focus on victory.
Peace through strength.
Then there are those vile and wicked people out there who are so stupid that they can't understand reality. There is no amount of negotiations that can stop certain ideologies, nations, or madmen from continuing their destructive activities and behaviors. The enemy is not concerned with your desire for peace, more often than not, and the actions of the enemy usually has nothing to do with anything other than their own militaristic goals.
In other words, believing that Islamic terrorists hit us on 9/11, or any other time, is because we are present in locations around the world, because we have defeated them on the battlefield, or because we are allies with Israel is a fantasy. They hit us because they hate us, and they hate us because we do not accept Islam, nor are we willing to live under Shariah law. It is as simple as that.
In response to two hundred years of Islamic attacks against the United States (don't forget the two Barbary Wars 1801-1805, 1815), finally culminating in the destruction of the World Trade Center on 9/11, the United States has decided to engage this enemy to stop the Islamic Jihad from doing any more damage. The radical ideology of Islam backed off a little during our early military operations into Iraq and Afghanistan, but as the enemy has rapidly realized the weaknesses of the current administration, and have assumed that their recent gains are because it is the "Will of Allah," the number of terrorist attacks worldwide have begun to increase again.
The attacks against the United States are not only violent terrorist attacks, but internal attacks to gain footing. The New York mosque is a great example.
The only reason that the Jihad has not launched an all-out assault is because the citizens of the United States are armed, and because our very capable military has taken the war to the Jihad, and has done a wonderful job in defending this nation by fighting the battle in the lion's den.
For their sacrifice, their honorable service, and their focus on defending this nation, our military service members deserve the utmost respect and appreciation.
Enter, Stage Left, the hard left, radical, peace-niks of groups like the vile and disgusting Code Pink. . .
Debbie Lee is the mother of deceased Navy SEAL Marc Alan Lee. Debbie Lee is a past guest on the Political Pistachio Radio Revolution, and in fact is scheduled to join us on August 29th. Debbie Lee is also an active participant of Move America Forward, as well as having her own organization, America's Mighty Warriors.
Debbie Lee was notified that her son, Marc Alan Lee, was killed in action August 2nd, 2006. He was the first SEAL to die in the war against the Islamic Jihad, and since that day Debbie Lee has dedicated her life to honoring and supporting our troops, their families and especially the families of the fallen.
"I have always been a patriot and understood that our men and women serving have paid for my freedoms but since the day Marc willingly sacrificed his life, I understand in a much deeper way the cost and sacrifice that our brave warriors and their families make. 'Freedom isn’t free' is a reality not just a patriotic slogan."
Along her journey, Debbie Lee has encountered the hateful, despicable people of anti-war groups, such as Code Pink. One of those people she has had the unfortunate opportunity to encounter is Jodie Evans, co-founder of Code Pink.
Code Pink has done everything they can to counter the war effort, including attacking our military recruiting offices while causing thousands of dollars in damage and threatening the recruiters. The organization has also sent over $600,000.00 to the terrorists in Fallujah.
In confrontations, Jodie Evans and her Code Pink degenerates have taunted Debbie Lee, making light of her son’s sacrifice, saying things like, “Your son deserved to die in Iraq if he was stupid enough to go over there.”
The vile nature of these uncaring, despicable, wicked people disgusts me.
Jodie Evans and her Code Pink cronies are now doing what they can to support ultra-liberal Jerry Brown for Governor of California.
Of this effort by Code Pink, Debbie Lee has said, "My son Marc is buried in Fort Rosecrans in San Diego along with a multitude of Vets who honorably served and gave their last breathe defending the shores of America. Their headstones are a testament to the sacrifices they have made as they gave the greatest gift they could, their life, so others could live and live free. Jerry Brown is dishonoring and disrespecting each of our fallen heroes by accepting money from a terrorist supporting lunatic! Jodie Evans has deeply insulted and offended me and so many other Gold Star families too many times."
Protesters, at a fundraising event yesterday, decided to give Code Pink, and their liberal left crazies, a taste of their own medicine. Protesters blocked entrances, laid on the sidewalk, and shouted phrases like, "Code Pink supports terrorists!"
The website, Big Peace, reports that Jodie Evans became visibly agitated when confronted by Melanie Morgan about Code Pink’s $600,000 donation to the families of terrorists who murdered U.S. troops in Fallujah. Evans snapped “you are on crack!” as Morgan persisted.
Morgan added, “these liberals were shocked that we turned up. They were extremely angry about our obnoxious support of U.S. troops… and completely oblivious to the irony. The most fun was watching Jodie Evans’ skin mottle in anger, matching her dyed red hair!”
Andrew Marcus of Big Government and Founding Bloggers videotaped the protest and remarked on the irony that one of the Code Pink greeters complained about being protested, a tactic commonly associated with Code Pink.
The hard left maniacs can dish it out, but apparently they can't take it.
