Having sex with someone, and being HIV positive, is akin to putting a gun against your partner's head and pulling the trigger. In fact, knowingly transferring the AIDS virus is worse than murdering someone in cold blood with a firearm, because the disease is not quick to kill. It is a slow, miserable death.
Nadia Benaissa is one of the founding members of a German music group called No Angels, and she is facing a trial in Germany after being charged with attempted bodily harm for having sexual intercourse with two men, while being fully aware that she is HIV positive.
She admitted to the sexual encounters, but denied intentionally infecting anyone.
Uh, honey, if you are HIV positive, and you are engaging in sexual activity, you are intentionally infecting your partners. To deny such would be like a person holding a flame against another's clothing, and then saying they didn't intend to light them on fire.
She was also charged with grievous bodily harm of a third whom she allegedly did infect.
The possible penalty, if she is convicted of all charges, could be up to 10 years in prison.

A pretty mild charge, in my opinion, for murder.
