James Lee, the Discovery Channel Bomber, believed that the planet is doomed, and his task in life was to force the Discovery Channel to participate in Saving The Planet. Part of his liberal neurosis also encompassed the long-time leftist belief that if we don't get the population under control, our society is doomed - and in fact, James Lee, like most liberals, saw humanity as a parasite on this planet.
But if humans were eventually eradicated to save the planet, who'd be around to appreciate it? I mean, aside from Al Gore in his personal jet and yacht?
Lee's preoccupation with the myths perpetuated by the hard left environmentalists even led him to create a manifesto of complete lunacy, that had him hating humanity so much that unlike his leftward brethren, James Lee was even against illegal immigration. However, his abhorrence of illegals was not in line with why others are against the border jumpers, but simply because as a population bomb freak, Lee had a particular problem with the fact that those crossing the border illegally also have the tendency to breed like rabbits.
Ultimately, the belief that the population is a problem and must be curtailed is actually a large part of the reason that we may see civilization collapse, and Islam spread.
In today's world we are seeing a rapid aging of almost every developed nation. And as these societies age, the birthrates are dropping. So, we are seeing less children, and more grandparents. This is not good when trying to maintain a stable civilization. And to maintain a stable population to replace the workforce, a nation needs a total fertility rate of 2.1 live births per woman. Of the developed nations, only the United States is at 2.1 or above (2.2 currently), and the U.S. has been dropping steadily.
The United States Social Security system assumes a 30 percent population growth between now and 2075, but that isn't happening, and so the system is running a deficit as a result. Capitalism needs growth to prosper, but not enough future workers being produced through births endangers such a proposition. Liberalism's precious Big Government policies need a continually growing workforce to pay for the welfare systems, and alas, with populations not growing at the rates expected, the welfare systems are unsustainable.
Those societies that are losing ground due to a rash of dropping birthrates will be forced to succumb to those societies that are not curbing their breeding. To maintain the liberal social systems, the populations must grow, and the Third World has been happy to oblige. They are more than willing to push out the babies we are not willing to have. So James Lee's dream of population control seems not to have reached the ears of the Muslims and the Hispanics, which in the end could overwhelm the First World by sheer numbers of people.
At the current rate, Europe will be a part of the Muslim World within a generation. Islam and the peoples south of the border of America will be battling for the United States within a couple generations. Self-extinction of the civilized world is on the horizon, and the rise of Islamic and Latino empires seem inevitable.
Despite Paul Ehrlich's 1968 Population Bomb book, and the liberal panic of Logan's Run proportions, there has never been a population bomb, and in fact in reality, if there is a rapid increase in population, it is hardly the fault of The West. Islam is not only the fastest growing religion because of conversions, but because of their abilities to pop out babies at a fierce rate.
As we outsource our breeding, we are finding that we are becoming swamped with Muslims. And with those incredible numbers of Muslims follows a political ideology that demands the world fall under their Sharia Law. Jihad, it turns out, is more than just bombing us with terrorism. Bombing us with babies is just as effective.
The number one import of new immigrants into European Nations are Muslims. Canada is nearly as far gone as the continent across the Atlantic. America is holding out, so far, but with the sudden addition of new mosques in America, the population explosion of Muslims is sure to follow.
And with the increase in Muslim populations comes an increase in violence, and an increase in demands for concessions.
Unfortunately, in addition to demanding that we abort our babies, or make less babies, the liberal left is also intent on appeasing the invasion of Muslims. They are not realizing that a barren society has no future, or at least the future belongs to those that refuse to be barren. Islam is proving they are the greatest globalization success story in history, blowing away McDonald's and Coca-Cola by a bunch.
Of course the nay-sayers proclaim that what I am proclaiming is some kind of Islamophobia, as if my beliefs are some kind of disorder that must be cured through a few psycho-therapeutic zaps. Problem is, as much as I hope that there are moderate Muslims out there, it is apparent that there is no moderate Islam. The moderate nature of those Muslims that seem to be moderate are not derived from any school of Islam, like it or not. The moderation of Muslims is only a temporary state as dictated to the surroundings of the host culture. As the influence of Islam increases, the moderate Muslims transform, and suddenly they are all marching in the streets and demanding that Sharia law be the local norm. And, with the loss of Western numbers in population, and the reduction of Western confidence, the Muslims that live where all of those moderate Muslims used to be are growing more radical with each baby popped out.
The attitude of Islam is simply that you are free to embrace Islam, but like the Hotel California, you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave. Islam is something you can convert to, but not from. Americans have not come to fully realize that, nor have they come to the conclusion, yet, that the political nature of Islam has one goal and one goal only: to change the foundations of the host political systems to those of Sharia law.
As the cities of The West succumb to Islam, the people making the fewer babies will have a choice to either live as a minority, or join the majority. And considering the way Islam treats the former, it will probably become the thing to do to opt for the latter.
The liberal left will claim that the Muslim scourge was created by George W. Bush and Karl Rove, but to be honest, the Muslims already had plans for The West. After all, it's not like they became the Muslim World by peaceful means in the first place. The Muslim World encompasses the region it does because they took it. . . and they took it by the sword. These regions experienced, as we may in the near future, societal collapse, fascist revivalism, and the darkness of Islam spreading across the countryside.
The European Union is about to collapse under its huge entitlement driven system, and its huge lack of babies. The United States is still relatively far behind, but rapidly attempting to catch up. And among the rubble, sifting through the devastation of a society no longer willing, or able, to carry its own weight, Islam is there in wait.
