MSNBC's Keith Olbermann was suspended for contributing to 3 Democratic candidates against network policy. A hard liberal on a hard left network, I wondered if MSNBC felt that those contributions might make the network look, oh, I don't know, liberal?
The suspension is indefinite, and without pay, for contributing a total of $7,200 to three Democratic candidates in late October.
The Washington Post reported: Olbermann's banishment leaves uncertain the immediate future of MSNBC's top-rated show, "Countdown With Keith Olbermann."
Top rated? What does he have? 12 communist viewers?
Oh, wait, they claim he has over a million people watching per month. Not quite a Fox News program, but I suppose there are a million Marxists somewhere in America willing to watch that sad excuse for a human being.
Anyway, apparently the problem is that by giving money to candidates it meant Olbermann's election coverage was tainted because his contributions meant he had privately picked favorites.
Are you kidding me? Could it be that he may have been. . . biased?
NBC policies and standards. Know them, love them, break them.
Like you have ever met a liberal that is willing to follow rules? These people are cheats and liars, so why is anyone surprised?
The Post also reports: "Media ethicists (yes, yes, I was surprised such a thing exists too!) said Friday it is prudent for all journalists -- even those paid to espouse opinions -- to demonstrate their independence by not contributing to candidates."
Independence? Would that mean they expect independent thought? Individualism? Is that what he was compromising?
These hard left idiots are collectivists. They are incapable of understanding individualism. They follow the head collectivist, high stepping with their black boots, and marching off the cliff like all good liberal sheep do.
He will later probably blame Bush for angering him enough to make him make those contributions. . .
