The star of the Crocodile Dundee movies, Paul Hogan, has been under investigation for using off-shore bank accounts to conceal his earnings. Finally, the Australian movie star has had enough, and is suing the government for damaging his reputation.
Australia eventually dropped their tax evasion case against Hogan, but the damage had been done. Hogan is now seeking up to £51 million for loss of earnings.
Hogan originally had only expected from the Australian Crime Commission an apology, but after never receiving it, he decided it is time to take it to the next level.
Apparently the Dundee star took issue in the government branding him "a criminal, a fraud, a money launderer and tax evader".
Now, mate, that's a knife.
