"It is error alone which needs the support of government. Truth can stand by itself." --Thomas Jefferson

An article criticizing a newspaper for editing out Hillary Clinton from the White House Situation Room begins: "Hillary Clinton's expression, right hand clasped over her mouth in astonishment, is largely responsible for making the above photo iconic."
Hillary Clinton, however, admitted that her hand over her mouth had nothing to do with the events unfolding. She indicated that her hand was over her mouth actually to guard against an allergy induced cough.
The inconsistencies don't stop there. One story indicates that the situation room photo that the media has been fawning over was taken while the occupants of the room were watching the commando operation to kill Osama bin Laden. The other story says that President Obama and his national security team were huddled around a conference table in the White House Situation Room, watching CIA director Leon Panetta narrate last Sunday's raid on Osama bin Laden's compound.
Which was it? Watching the operation? Or watching Panetta narrate what was going on?
That's the problem with lies. The truth has a habit of creating inconsistencies.
Then again, the inconsistent stories don't only haunt this operation. Obama's entire presidency has been plagued by inconsistent stories.
Lies, lies, lies.
But why should we be surprised? Liberals lie. It comes natural to them. How else could the socialists ever be elected?
