Article V. Convention subject of Last Sunday's Constitution Speaker Radio!

Catch the podcast of last Sunday's show on KCAA 1050AM radio (KCAAradio.com) for the conversation with Bill Walker of the Friends of Article V. Convention. We discussed the importance of this tool on our tool belt of taking back the country, and the dangerous misconceptions out there regarding an Article V. Convention that includes the argument that a "Con-Con will enable them to rewrite the Constitution."

Nuts and Nuggets:

Nut: Actress Daryl Hannah of movies “Splash” and “Kill Bill” upon being arrested at protest against Keystone XL Tar Sands Pipeline Extension: “We want to be free from the horrible death and destruction that fossil fuels cause, and have a clean energy future.”

Nugget: New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) when asked about his plans for reelection:
“I don't worry about reelection. I feel like I'm playing with house money anyway. Nobody expected me to win this race. The more I start thinking about reelection and trying to calculate either my actions or my decisions based upon that, I'm probably moving closer and closer to not getting reelected. Be myself, be who I am, let the chips fall where they may.”

Both a Nut and a Nugget: CNN’s Jack Cafferty asserted that “intellectual lightweights” Rep. Michele Bachmann and Gov. Rick Perry were “sucking up most of the media’s attention, mostly for saying stupid stuff.”

“If Palin runs, we’ll have yet another Mensa candidate to join Bachmann and Perry,” Cafferty worried.

“When it comes to presidential politics, why does America seem to be allergic to brains?”
