After being told that job creation is on the way because government is throwing tax payer money around in all directions, for the first time since 1945, no new jobs were added in a month. Government can't create jobs, and the democrat party policies are literally the exact opposite of what is necessary to create the conditions in the private sector for job growth.
The employment situation is a disaster. What is interesting about this is when the unemployment rate was below 6% during the Bush administration, the democrats swore up and down that the rate meant we were in the depths of a horrid recession, yet now with today's rate we are somehow in a recovery.
Something sound fishy to you?
That's the point. The definition of recession seems to be directly tied with who is in office, according to the media.
But how is it that there can be no job creation, yet people are constantly losing their jobs, and the unemployment rate didn't change? How can job loss be higher than job creation, yet the alleged 9.1% unemployment rate remain at 9/1%?
The democrats are doing everything they can to keep the unemployment rate as low as possible, without making it obvious they are monkeying with the numbers, to keep Obama's hopes for reelection alive. But the facts can't be denied. Fact is, in August we didn't create a single job.
The key to understanding the leftist's manipulation of the numbers is that if the labor force was listed as being as big as it was in 2009 when Barry began his reign of idiocy, the unemployment rate as per their U-3 would be 11.4%. In other words, in order to keep the rate down at 9.1%, they simply changed the numbers making the total number of jobs in the universe lower.
Normally, when there are layoffs, the size of the labor force does get a little smaller, because those jobs are no longer available. But the labor force has been dropping faster than it should because in the government's numbers they have not added back onto the number any job creation that has occurred. The democrats have literally reduced the size of the labor force by simply changing a few numbers.
The numbers don't match what was promised, either. Remember, Obama and gang said unemployment wouldn't get above 8%, and Biden promised 500,000 jobs a month if all of the liberal spending programs went into force. Instead, we have an economy that is on the verge of collapse, sky-high unemployment, and now for the first time since the Great Depression zero net jobs added.
No job growth, a GDP of 1%, a dollar that is devaluing because of an incredible amount of government spending that is rising month by month, increased federal control over our lives, increased regulations against the producers that can turn this thing around if the government would just get out of the way, federal subsidies and bail outs to the corporations that is on Obama's list of preferred businesses. . . wow, it is beginning to look a lot like a mixture of socialism and fascism, isn't it?
Obama and the democrats hold to the idea of collectivism. They don't trust the individual, they don't trust entrepreneurs, and they abhor the idea of State sovereignty. We have prospered as a nation because of capitalism. We are the greatest nation in the history of this planet largely because of the free market. We are a nation of producers, entrepreneurs, wealth creators, individuals, and personally responsible hard workers that are self-reliant. That is what made us great. Not government intervention, not big government programs, and not social justice.
Obama disagrees, so he is working to change the system from what it was created to be. He hates the Constitution, sees it as a flawed document, and is doing whatever he can to knock us down a few notches and wage war against the producers. . . which in the long run is war against the middle class. When the producers can't produce, they can't provide jobs, products, or economic growth.
Barry takes money from the producers, and gives it to those that create nothing. He pays the poor to stay poor, and he pays the unemployed for 99 weeks to stay unemployed. The democrats have been working to destroy what this nation stands for, because they don't like it the way it is.
On top of that, Obama is taking power he is not afforded by the Constitution. He has been working to make the legislative branch irrelevant because he realizes the people, through the Tea Party, are gaining on him. He's in a panic, using his power, abusing his power, really, in the most destructive ways he can.
In a nut shell, liberal policies are what is standing in the way of economic recovery. The good part is, an increasingly informed electorate is realizing this. Barack Obama can try to act a little less extreme, and talk about "balance", all he wants. The fact is he is expanding the powers of the federal government, and he is turning his tyranny against the people. This is why people are angry. They have noticed the madness. He can point blame at the Republicans, or the Tea Party, or Bush, or earthquakes, or tsunamis all he wants. The fact is, the democrats have had total control of Congress since 2007, aside from the last eight months, and Obama has had the presidency for nearly three years. He's the problem. The democrats are the problem. They are the ones standing in the way, and they will not stop until they are made to. They must be defeated, removed by the next election, and hopefully kept out of control for as long as possible. Liberalism fails, and is destructive to our American system.
They are turning this nation into something it should not be. . . second rate. Liberalism has destroyed California, and they want it to be like it is in California nationwide. The liberal ideology is the antithesis of what has made this nation great.
President Obama has slashed the military to make us less capable of defending ourselves, and Barack Obama has worked to make it so that we cannot even be self-sufficient in our energy needs because he is blocking exploration and pipelines and drilling opportunities right here at home. He is even opposing new methods for extracting oil from shale. Yet, where he should slash and reform, such as with entitlement programs, he is working to increase them with things like taking the greatest health care system on the planet and nationalizing it (Obamacare), and other related programs.
Obama and the democrats are working to dismantle this country through authoritarianism, and the delusion of socialism.
They must be stopped. . . and that is what election 2012 is all about.
