Obama Jobs Bill Can't Get By Democrats in U.S. Senate

Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) said, at the moment, Democrats in Congress don’t have the votes to pass President Obama’s jobs bill. . .

The Hill

If getting democrats of the Senate on board for this turkey of a bill (which is actually a spending bill, not a jobs bill) is not happening, then how do they expect the bill to pass a GOP dominated House of Representatives?

That's because Obama never intended for this bill to pass. He proposed it to make it look like he's trying to do something, and so that later he, and the democrats, can accuse the republicans of trying to stand in the way of job creation. . . even though government does not create jobs - that is a function of the private sector.
