I remember when New York became the sixth state to legalize gay marriage. The lawyers of New York were beside themselves, because what comes with gay marriage is gay divorce. It is inevitable. Considering the fickled nature, and refusal to embrace monogamy for the most part, of the homosexual culture, would you expect anything different?
The mantra for the drive to nationally legalize gay marriage has been, "Equality for all," as if government sticking its nose even farther into the institution of marriage is a path that ought to be taken.
I don't even like government regulating heterosexual marriage.
The problem is that the gay agenda is laying on us a massive contradiction. As much as they claim they seek equality, the truth of the matter is that the homosexuals have no interest in equality. What they seek is preferential treatment. If they simply wanted equality, of which I would argue Americans of any stripe already has, their strategies would be entirely different.
SB48 in California demands that teachers, whether they like it or not, teach their students about the gay lifestyle in a positive manner. The teacher will be under threat of a law suit if they dare pray in class, however.
Even the idea of gay marriage is not a drive for equality, but instead an attempt to eliminate the definition of marriage that has stood for generations, overpower the straight culture into accepting the sexual perversion as "normal", and ultimately eliminate the religious aspect of marriage.
A friend of mine told me recently that in Murrieta high schools if gay students make out on campus, they are left alone, and allowed to continue sucking face. Nobody says anything, for they don't dare anger the gays on campus for fear of a lawsuit.
If heterosexual couples show affection beyond holding hands, however, steps are taken to stop the unacceptable behavior, and punishments are often issued.
Are the gay students speaking out against the unequal application of the rules?
Of course not.
The gay agenda has never been about equality. Their aim is preferential treatment for their choice of behavior, and forcefully silencing any opposition.
