Watched most of it while I ate dinner after getting home. This debate was not nearly the waste that the past ones were. The conservatives shined (Bachmann, Cain, Santorum), and wannabe conservative did okay (Perry), the loony-tune was coherent and actually made some fantastic points (Ron Paul), Party-hack Newt Gingrich sounded pretty good and intellectual (too bad we can't trust him to stay that way, since he tends to put party before principles), Huntsman was invisible, and Romney sounded more liberal than ever. . . no wonder the press likes him so much and doesn't attack him like they attack the conservatives.
I don't plan to analyze this one, but be rest assured that the winner was Herman Cain by a long shot. Aside from the National Sales Tax portion of his 9-9-9 Plan, and the fact that I think the flat tax should be at 8%, he's a pretty good candidate.
