On July 1, 1985 I received a head injury (temporal fracture) from which I should not have survived. It took a couple years of rehab just for me to be able to function without assistance. I had to learn how to walk again, learning to talk again was frustrating, and I still experience residual effects of the accident.

Now, she is speaking. Her battle to return to some semblance of normalcy is truly remarkable. View the video HERE.
