Obama's Speech Screams Marxism

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Obama gave a speech the other day, and unlike most democrats, he laid his Marxist guts out for all to see. He revealed his dislike of America as it was founded, and his distaste for capitalism. Obama, in his speech, complained about limited government as prescribed by the Constitution. She said that such a system doesn't work, and has never worked. He said we can't return to the "On your own economy." In other words, everyone should be dependent upon the federal government in one way or another.

I've heard this kind of talk before. . . from the leaders of the old Soviet Union.

Never mind the prosperity this nation has seen because of limited government and the free market system. Never mind the innovation we have seen when individuals go after their personal dreams. Obama, the President of the United States, said that the American System has never worked, and we need to change it. He said that Americans must look to a more activist government that taxes more, spends more, and regulates more if the middle class is to be preserved.

Activist? Is that another word for radical? Taxes, spends and regulates more?

Think about that for a moment. He is proposing nothing new. Every big government regime in the past has followed the recipe that Obama is proposing, and enacting, and every time they have failed, and resulted in bloodshed.

Obama's speech would have fit in real well in any communist country. Throw in the words "proletariat" and "bourgeois" in the right places, and it could have been a speech given by any communist leader in history.

Obama's speech was full of class warfare, a favorite tool of Marxism. Class warfare is how Marx explained everything, just like Barry. Obama blames all of the current problems on the republicans, and the rich. He is dead set to pit everyone against each other, and specifically everyone against the rich producers. The producers are achievers, and they make it impossible to move into a socialist system as long as they exist. People like Obama who hopes to change America into something different, feels they must be eliminated - or at least compromised, and be made the enemy. A good crisis to create conflict. A good crisis, said Rahm Emanuel, should never go to waste.

Obama's speech was where Teddy Roosevelt gave his in 1910. Same place, same progressive message. But in Obama's case, a little more Marxism was sprinkled in.

He blames everyone for everything, but what about him? Does Obama not own up to anything? He's even gone so far as to blame technology!

Obummer complained about the Internet, and how now there aren't any more travel agents or telephone operators. Never mind all the jobs that were created by the Internet. And he returned to his ATM complaint, too. All of this technology. Makes it hard to control everyone with all this innovation going on.

What is interesting is that Obama and his liberal allies in 2008 attacked anyone that dared to call Obama a socialist, yet in this speech he came right out and said it. Does he plan to run as a socialist in 2012? He has now announced to the world that that is exactly what he is.

It is this kind of madness that opened the door for Ronald Reagan.

What is funny is that the Left complains that the rich is getting richer.

Yeah! Isn't that wonderful? They get richer, and then spend more money which creates more jobs, and they expand their businesses which creates more jobs! And they inspire us to want to be them as well, so we work to achieve as well.

That is how it works. Incentive. Individualism. Pursuit of happiness.

The democrats hate the rich because they refuse to depend on the government. If you don't depend on the government, buying your vote is a little tougher. "You vote for us and we'll keep paying you to stay poor" doesn't work with people loaded with money.

The war on poverty has not worked. That's because entitlements don't work.

Barack Obama said that the free market is "a license to steal." He has grown government to the point of stealing from the taxpayers. He has stolen from us with his stimulus programs. He has stolen from the future with all of the spending. And now he wants you to give up on your dreams of wealth and prosperity for yourself and your kids.

Entitlement recipients have been taught to do nothing for themselves. They have been convinced it is too hard to get out of whatever they are in.

Nothing is impossible. Life is hard, but this mentality of hopelessness drives me nuts. I have been in situations where survival was against all odds, but I survived. I did more than survive. I prevailed.

Obama wants you to sit and wait for government to redistribute from the achievers. They want you to think they do it out of compassion, when it is actually slavery. When they pay for everything, they can tell you what to do. It's called liberalism, communism, socialism, Marxism; and it fails every time it is tried.
