Obama says he hates those rich Wall Street types, and if we could just get them to pay their fair share in taxes, things would be okay. Never mind the fact that the top 0.1 Percent pays more income tax than the bottom 80%. Class warfare is Obama's shtick, I guess, and he wants to get people thinking that Romney is one of those rich guys that deserves everyone's hate because he somehow dared to become successful in the nation that is the land of opportunity.
How dare he!
Personally, I don't like Romney much, myself, but it's not because he's some rich guy. I don't like him because aside from Huntsman, Romney is the closest of the republicans in the race to being anything like Obama.
What is funny about the Obama camp demanding Romney release his tax returns is that this is coming from a guy that refuses to release his college transcripts, anything he wrote while he was the head guy of the Harvard Law Review, and who refused to release his birth certificate for the longest time (authenticity remains questionable, and if the birth certificate is authentic it only confirms he's not eligible anyway).
Romney is too moderate, and for that reason he has no chance to beat Obama. The voters are looking for conservative candidates.
McCain proved that moderates can't win. Reagan proved that conservatives do win.
