Notice that the liberal areas in this map showing the 2010 Midterm results are the heavily populated areas, for the most part, and some of the poorer areas. This is a center-right country, and the liberal democrats only win elections when they demonize their opponents to the point that voters don't turn out to vote for them, and their votes come from hard left crazies and the poor who have bought into the entitlement mentality. The liberal left separates our nation into groups, and panders to the groups. What conservatives must do is remember we are not about groups, we are about "Americans", and we need to reform the entitlement system out of existence. . . once people become self-reliant, and personally responsible enough to take care of themselves, they realize the slavery the left proposes.
