Whatever happened to the rights of the businessman? Whatever happened to the right to refuse service to anyone?
I remember a couple years or so ago how at a mall a patron was arrested for talking to a couple about Christ. I wrote about it, said it was messed up, but then defended the mall, and any store, to define the rules of their establishment. Even though I believed it was wrong for a business to dictate to customers what they are allowed to talk about, or what messages they can have on their shirts, I defended their freedom to choose what kind of customers they could have in their establishment in regards to belief systems. A gay reader of this site agreed with me about the business having the right to set the rules of their establishment.
I guess that goes only one way. . .
This is how disgusting these people are. Because the store owners belief system was different than theirs, they took them to court and the court system, thanks to this despicable gay couple, the proprietors lost their business, and were fined $30,000. In other words, they lost their livlihood, their bread and butter, along with a chunk of cash, for disagreeing with the concept of gay marriage.
The disgusting gay couple was two women from New York, Kate Baker and Ming Linsley. They threw a temper tantrum, refused to take their business elsewhere to someone who would be willing to host the reception, and then sued the Wildflower Inn of Vermont for declining to host their wedding reception.
The owners of the inn, Jim and Mary O'Reilly, are Catholic and believe in traditional marriage. They refused to celebrate the marriage of the gay/lesbian couple.
So the message is, don't do what 2% of the population demands, and lose everything you've worked so hard for.
As I have said before, and this is evidence, the homosexual agenda is not about gaining marriage for themselves, but to destroy it, and the religious culture that supports traditional marriage.
This is just wrong. Conform, or be put out of business and lose a significant amount of money. Bow down to the perverted dictates of the State, the courts, and a small minority of a well funded agenda, or pay the price.
Sounds a little fascist, doesn't it?
