Remember when after the shooting of Representative Giffords our caring President Barack Obama, and the Democrats, cried out for civility? They located what they considered dangerous things said, or portrayed, by the Republican Party and the TEA Party and called it all "unacceptable." An image of crosshairs on Sarah Palin's website was attributed to being the cause of the shooting.
Well, lately, it seems, the Democrats have decided those rules of civility only applies to Republicans. In a series of attacks that often compare conservatives to racists, killers, or Nazis, South Carolina Democratic chairman Dick Harpootlian compared his state's Republican female governor, Nikki Haley, to Hitler's mistress, Eva Braun.
He said, in reference to Governor Haley participating in daily news briefings in a basement studio at the NASCAR Hall of Fame: “She was down in the bunker a la Eva Braun.”
Nazi Eva Braun, along with her lover Adolf Hitler, committed suicide in a bunker as World War II was coming to an end.
This follows a top Democrat from Kansas comparing GOP V.P. candidate Paul Ryan to Hitler, and a couple days after John Burton, a Democratic delegate from California, compared Ryan to Nazi Joseph Goebbels.
