John Kerry, the man who stood by Jane Fonda as she sought to undermine our troops in Vietnam, is now the Secretary of State. His anti-American activities, and sell-out to communist countries, hasn't ended. Now, he has offered further reductions of the missile defense system, if China will help with our situation regarding nuke-ready North Korea.
The offer shows that the White House knows who is pulling North Korea's strings. Why else would Kerry make such an offer?
This also shows that Kerry knows that our enemies, like him, don't like SDI. That is why they pulled the system out of Poland, and Czechoslovakia. The aim is to appease. The democrats falsely believe that putting up a defense system like Reagan's Star Wars system, sends a message that we don't trust Russia, China, and rogue states like Iran and North Korea. They think we ought not upset the enemy because, the democrats believe, that is why they don't like us.
We don't trust them, and we shouldn't. We want them to know we don't trust them. We want them to know that we are willing to defend ourselves, which serves as a deterrent.
This Neville Chamberlain style of appeasement is only making things worse.
