The liberal left hates guns. They see guns as a blot on our society, and an obstacle to their statist drive for a Marxist utopia. They see children being exposed to guns as a form of child abuse. No wonder when Jared Marcum showed up to school with a gun T-shirt on, the progressives in the school went nuts. . . and suspended him.
Now, a battle is being waged, because Jared has decided to fight for his First Amendment rights.
“I never thought it would go this far because honestly I don’t see a problem with this, there shouldn’t be a problem with this,” Jared said.
Not only was the young man suspended, but for wearing a shirt with an image of a gun printed on it he was also arrested and is facing two charges, obstruction and disturbing the education process.
Jared’s father Allen Lardieri says he’s angry he had to rush from work to pick his son up from jail over something he says was blown way out of proportion.
“I don’t’ see how anybody would have an issue with a hunting rifle and NRA put on a t-shirt, especially when policy doesn’t forbid it,” Lardieri said.
According to WOWK TV, the Logan County School District’s dress code policy prohibits clothing that displays profanity, violence, discriminatory messages and more but nowhere in the document does it say anything about gun images.
“He did not violate any school policy,” Lardieri reiterates. “He did not become aggressive.”
The liberal left makes the rules up as they go along, and are willing to go to any lengths to silence their opposition.
