First of all, it is not a war on terror, but a war against the Islamic Jihad. Second, I find it appalling that Barack Obama is trying to redefine the war on terror, and is saying that the post 911 era is over. Does he not get it that war doesn't end just because we decide to say it is over? It is not time to say the war is winding down when terrorist activity in Europe, and the United States, is on the increase.
Did the hacking to death of a British soldier by a Muslim not count as a terror attack? What about the Boston Marathon?
Is this an attempt to delegitimize America's military, and to weaken us in the eyes of the enemy?
Lastly, the Islamic Jihad will not stop because bin Laden is dead, or any other victory the federal government wants to claim. Islam hates us because we are not Muslim, and because they believe us to be a Christian nation. The goal is world conquest, where Shariah is a worldwide law. Until we understand that, we have no chance to defend ourselves against the Islamic Jihad.
