In Islam when a mosque is present with a loud speaker system a call to prayer goes out a bunch of times a day. The call to prayer has always fascinated me. How faithful could the faithful possibly be if they have to be reminded to pray?
As a Christian, prayer is a special time between me and the Lord. I don't pray out in the open, flopping on my face making prayer a public display of some kind of ritualistic mumbo-jumbo orgy of rugs and bodies. It is a private time of fellowship. I don't pray for show, and I don't have to be reminded by some loud speaker to pray because I want to pray - I want to spend time with my loving and merciful God.
When one is in a loving relationship, the desire to communicate comes naturally.
