Religious Cleansing in the Violence in Egypt

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Escalating violence has led Egypt to declaring a month long state of emergency. We are being told that in Egypt the death toll is rising, which it is rapidly, and it is a clash between the Muslim Brotherhood and those who oppose Morsi, and his Muslim Brotherhood allies.

In reality, it is the military against a Muslim Brotherhood that is seeking a national cleansing.

The Muslim Brotherhood has launched a reign of terror designed to put those that are bucking their rule back in their place as the military works to diffuse the Islamic threat.  Fear is being used by the Muslim Brotherhood to try and silence their opposition.  A part of the opposition are Christians, and a part of it are secularists.  The Muslim Brotherhood is working to silence both groups, and kill them all if they have to, as those groups, and the military, fights back.

Islam does not allow opposition. Refusal to fully immerse yourself in Islam is intolerable. The followers of Muhammad are taught that they are superior, and all infidels are inferior.  Non-Muslims must submit to the authority of Islam, or become slaves, or be killed.  That is the way of the Koran.

Prior to the ouster of Hosni Mubarak, The Muslim Brotherhood was banned from holding any position in Egypt's government, and in fact was outlawed as an organization in the country.  Mubarak knew that his rule, and the peace of Egypt, depended on the quelling of Islamic groups and their cry for jihad.  Hosni Mubarak may have been a dictator, but he kept the peace in Egypt, and in the region.  The current Egyptian military seems to understand that formula.

The Muslim Brotherhood desires chaos in the region, for it is only through crisis that they can rise to power.  They wanted the Arab Spring because they wanted the chaos. . . and so did the Obama administration.

Unrest and chaos is how the Obama administration puts into place their own agenda.  They, too, believe that a good crisis cannot be left to go to waste.

Now, we are seeing a clash between a military that opposes the Muslim Brotherhood, and a Muslim Brotherhood bent on the cleansing of all opposition in Egypt.  The murder of Christians, and a battle for control of the strategic region Egypt inhabits, is in full swing.  Israel's existence is at risk with her southern neighbor suffering from a war within, but the jihadists have wasted no time, already launching missiles from the Sinai. Christians are being murdered regularly, and nation after nation in the Middle East is falling into the hands of the Islamic Jihad.  A war in the Muslim World designed to eventually bring about a massive caliphate has begun, and the violence will only get worse.

Change, for the Muslim World, can be devastating in the eyes of civilized peoples.  However, change that ignites the fires of Islamic Jihad is exactly what Islam desires, for their "end times", as prophesied by Muhammad, where Islam ultimately dominates the world, cannot happen until the world descends into chaos and each of the infidel nations die by the Islamic sword.

Chaos is exactly what they want.  Worldwide domination is the aim.  Egypt is but a small piece of a much larger puzzle.
