The Great Unemployment Deception

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Everything the Democrat Party does is all about smoke and mirrors.  Nothing is true.  The leftists either monkey with the language, cook the books, or conveniently don't tell you what you need to know, in order to sell their wares.  Their economic theories are all failures, and the system is in so much trouble right now we are on the verge of a collapse that would make the Great Depression look like a cake-walk.  Things are worsening, but the liberal left propaganda paints a completely different picture.

Today, the news hit the media that the unemployment rate dropped a tenth of a percent to 7.1%, and that is the lowest it has been in ten years.  Cause for celebration, right?

First of all, the ten year thing is not true, and the unemployment rate may be lower than it was recently (according to their numbers), but compared to the rate during the terms of George W. Bush, the unemployment rate is sky-high.  However, the unemployment rate, as high as it is, is not even an honest number.

Every time a person drops off the unemployment rolls, they are no longer counted as unemployed, even though they are not employed. It is a deceptive number.  The true figure of unemployed is over 20%, but we are not told that, because it might make Obama look bad.  In reality, the number of people not in the labor force is at a record high: 90,473,000.

The improved numbers regarding unemployment, as reported by the mainstream media, like everything else the leftists does, is a deception.  The truth is shrouded in language too complex to decipher, and hiding deep within its core is a granule of the truth, which is that growth is at nearly zero, a record number of people are out of work, and the only thing that is holding up our economy and the Stock Market is an artificial glut of fiat money being pumped into the system by the Federal Reserve (a.k.a. private international bankers) as if the rising debt of this nation doesn't matter.

When the dollar loses its status as the world's reserve currency, it will all come crashing down, and the pain of Germany after World War I will be but a pin prick compared to the economic tumult we will be in for. . . unless we stop the unconstitutional massive federal spending, stop the unconstitutional heavy regulations, and stop the punitive rapidly rising taxes NOW!
