Which is to say, the rats are fleeing the USS Messiah like it was in mid-warp core breach - which it is:
And why wouldn't they join Republicans on an ObamaCare "fix" that lays the foundation for, at best, a year's delay that might possibly get the web portal security/functionality issues ironed out, and at worst, a "bailout" of the private health insurance sector that would be the fascist version of single payer? Of which the latter is far more likely, given the rapidity with which the "death spiral" is already churning.
The "ObamaCare Dozen" are in a pants-wetting panic, but if they don't have to swallow the crap sandwich of full repeal, why on Earth should they have a problem with the GOP both solving their problems for them and giving them political absolution at the same time? C'mon, where are Ted Cruz and Mike Lee now that significant progress in rolling back ObamaCare is becoming possible?
Oh, that's right, they've alienated almost their entire own caucus with their fratricidal obnoxiousness over the summer, and any influence they might once have had with their colleagues right along with it. Bet they wish they had it now.
I know I do.
