As Google offered nothing in their logo to celebrate the Marine Corps birthday, I helped celebrate it at a Constitution Faire last Saturday.
On Sunday, the day that is the anniversary, as a Marine Corps veteran's son, and a Navy Veteran myself, I prayed a prayer of thank you for our fine Marines... and then added, "But until those jarheads learn to walk on water, they still need the oldest service, the United States Navy."
AMEN.
