Obama May Never Leave

By Douglas V. Gibbs

President Barack Obama campaigns constantly that he is the anti-politician politician, yet reality says otherwise.  When the 44th President of the United States is out making speeches around the country he always discusses how nice it is to be away from Washington DC.  He does what he can to convince the voters that don't pay close attention to politics that he is just like them, fighting The Man, and trying to battle a system in the Federal City that is broken, and must be changed at its foundations.

He hates it in Washington, he tells us.

Like usual, what he says is far from the truth, while laced with bits of truth that are far from what the public is meant to understand.

In an interview on ABC News with Barbara Walters, King Obama, and be'Hom SuvwI' Michelle Obama, for the sake of their daughter's educations and social circles, said that they may kick around staying in Washington DC after the end of his presidency.

Some political pundits will argue he meant that his presidency will continue after the scheduled end of his regime's reign in January 2017.  A repeat of FDR's four term presidency may be eminent.

Liberals agree. In fact, Jonathan Zimmerman, a history and education professor at New York University, says deciding whether a president deserves a third, fourth or more terms should be left to the American people, not the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution.  When Democrats are in power, they argue against term limits.  When the GOP has the helm, suddenly they become strong advocates for limits on the terms of politicians.
The Obama's may claim to love Chicago (the thuggery and corruption has a tendency to reel in power-hungry types like the Obamas), but they love the power and status of Washington, much more - and I am thinking that in 2016, the supporters of Obama, and perhaps Barry himself, will begin to sound a lot like Professor Zimmerman.

A royal life, well supported by the American People, can be addicting.

A part of the fundamental change to the American System may include repeal of the 22nd Amendment.

American Politics is a subject that Obama focuses on constantly.  The system is broke, in his opinion, because the Congress is not a rubber stamp for his big government policies.  And God help us (or would that be "Allah help us"?) in the opinion of Obama if the Republicans regain the presidency.  Why, he must be thinking, they could ruin everything he's worked so hard to accomplish. . . and destroy.

Hanging around is the least he could do for the emerging communist empire.

Obama constantly tells us that when it comes to Washington, he hates the players, not the playground. So, he is working to change all the players - or at least make them powerless and silent.

The only downfall, I bet he is figuring, is as long as he remains on the throne, he won't be able to write an historical memoir about his historica presidency.
