I would say O is not interested in stopping the mullahgarchy's nuclear weapons program, and is very interested in pushing Israel into a corner where they will have no choice but to launch a last-ditch pre-emptive strike, in order to publicly condemn the Jewish State as a warmongering aggressor deserving of Islamic retaliation - perhaps even with U.S. assistance.
Benjamin Netanyahu knows his people are being set up, and he's not going gently into that good night:
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Friday that he "utterly rejects" the impending agreement, calling it a "bad deal." And he reiterated that Israel will do everything it needs to do to defend itself. One thing all Israelis of whatever political stripe share in common: They will never again allow themselves to be displaced from their ancient homeland. If any enemy tries to annihilate them, they will take that enemy down with them. It's known as the Samson Complex, the Jews come by it honestly, and it's alive and well in the halls of power in Jerusalem.
Israel believes Iran is trying to develop a nuclear weapon, and says international pressure should be stepped up, not eased, in order to force Iran to dismantle its nuclear program. Netanyahu has repeatedly threatened to attack Iran, unilaterally if necessary, if he concludes that diplomatic pressure on Iran has failed.
"I understand the Iranians are walking around very satisfied in Geneva as well they should because they got everything and paid nothing," Netanyahu told reporters, according to the Associated Press.
"They wanted relief of sanctions after years of grueling sanctions — they got that. They paid nothing because they are not reducing in any way their nuclear enrichment capability. So Iran got the deal of the century and the international community got a bad deal," Netanyahu said.
"This is a very bad deal and Israel utterly rejects it. Israel is not obliged by this agreement and Israel will do everything it needs to do to defend itself and defend the security of its people," he said.
Next time Barack Obama decides to "practice" a little Christianity - you know, just to see what the infidels are thinking - he might take a gander at this passage:
Now the Lord said to Abram, " Go forth from your country, and from your relatives and from your father’s house, to the land which I will show you; and I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and so you shall be a blessing; and I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of Earth will be blessed.”Birth pangs, indeed.
