War: Feds Subpoena Christie's Campaign, State GOP; ‘2016 Obama’ Movie’s D'Souza Indicted

by JASmius

Question for D.C. Republicans: Do you still think the Democrats are your "friendly colleagues on the other side of the aisle"?  Here are two more wake-up calls between the ol' peepers.

Remember how the Obama Department of Injustice & Revenge gratuitously inserted itself into a the purely state matter of "Bridge-gate"?  They've just done a cannonball into the deep end:

Federal prosecutors have escalated their criminal investigation into allegations that Governor Chris Christie's aides created traffic jams as political payback, subpoenaing his re-election campaign and the state Republican leadership.
The subpoenas seek documents related to the closure of traffic lanes near the George Washington Bridge, according to Mark Sheridan, a lawyer representing Christie for Governor and the Republican State Committee....
Earlier this month, U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman said only that his office was reviewing the matter "to determine whether a federal law was implicated."
Well, that didn't take long, now did it?  The obvious answer here is that the hilariously appropriately surnamed "Fishman" hasn't had any strikes on any of his casts thus far and is throwing a dragnet over the entire "lake" in the hopes of finding something, regardless of whether it has anything to do at all with "Bridge-gate".  And if nothing else, he can simply issue an unending stream of subpoenas to Christie and his lieutenants and Jersey GOP officials until somebody loses his train of thought under oath and "perjurs" himself.  Bottom line is, the Regime won't let go of this until the Big Man either cries uncle and resigns or they take him away in handcuffs and legirons on whatever federal charge they have to make up.

In military terms, this is called eliminating a threat.  The other wake-up call is sheer revenge for its own sake:

Dinesh D'Souza, a conservative commentator and best-selling author, has been indicted by a federal grand jury for arranging excessive campaign contributions to a candidate for the U.S. Senate.

According to an indictment made public on Thursday in U.S. federal court in Manhattan, D'Souza around August 2012 reimbursed people who he had directed to contribute $20,000 to the candidate's campaign. The candidate was not named in the indictment.

A lawyer for D'Souza contended his actions were "at worst," an act of misguided friendship toward the candidate....
Dinesh D'Souza is also the maker of the 2012 campaign expose, 2016: Obama's America.  Coincidence?  With Team Messiah, there are no coincidences.

Don't worry, though, I've saved the punchline for last, and it does not disappoint:

"As we have long said, this office and the FBI take a zero tolerance approach to corruption of the electoral process," the U.S. Attorney for Manhattan, Preet Bharara, said in a statement released by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Bharara is an Obama appointee.
Says the Obama drone that works for the same corrupt, scandal-ridden Department of Injustice & Revenge that practically headquarters ACORN and quite likely engineered the theft of the 2012 presidential election.  I'll give y'all a change for the coughing and gagging fits to subside before we proceed.

Feel better now?  Good.  What do these two brass-knucked ball shots have in common?  If a Republican crosses Barack Obama, he's a dead man; if a Republican embraces Barack Obama, he's a dead man.  Basically, if you're a Republican....you're a dead man.

It's war, my fellow Pachyderms.  Will our guys and gals ever come to terms with this and start fighting like their lives depend on it?  They would be highly and well advised to do so.  Like, yesterday.

An impeachment inquiry would be a good first counter-salvo.  It certainly wouldn't lack for viable targets.

UPDATE: Ann Althouse, Glenn Reynolds, and Ace are all of similar mind on Mr. D'Souza.
