Gretchen Carlson Outs Illegal Who Is Suing First Responders Who Saved His Life

by JASmius

What...?

On live national TV Gretchen Carlson outed a man as an illegal who is suing first responders who saved his life. Roy Ortiz was tapped by flood waters in Colorado but was saved by first responders and now he is suing them. At the close of the segment, Carlson asked if Ortiz is an illegal. His attorney would not answer but Gretchen reveled what the attorney said during the break - outing the man as an illegal.

So let me add this up: Ortiz is suing first responders for....what, exactly?  Not saving his life fast enough?  But....they did save his life.  What injury did he suffer by the delay?  He appears to be in one piece, as it were.  You can't sue for an adverse result that might have happened under different circumstances but didn't under the ones that actually transpired.  Unless Boulder County gets to pay damages in equally hypothetical currency, I'm at a loss to understand how the defendants can be held liable for imaginary negligence producing non-existent injury.

I'd also wonder why on Earth an illegal was drawing this kind of attention to himself by filing such a high-profile lawsuit, except that Ortiz has less than nothing to worry about from the risibly non-existent specter of the Obama Regime deporting him.  Indeed, Ms. Carlson is far more likely to be sued in turn by Eric "The Red" Holder's Injustice & Revenge Commissariat for transgressing Ortiz's "civil rights" by outing him on national television.

At this rate, we may as well all clear our schedules, because that docket is going to have a very long line.
